Mount Royal University (MRU) is pleased to host the 2016 national conference for Community Service Learning (CSL) and Community Engagement (CE). The conference is being structured to facilitate discussions, discovery, and networking between and within the constituent groups involved with administering, teaching, or conducting research regarding CSL and CE. An ongoing theme throughout the conference will be provided through sequential workshops developed by Canadian Alliance for Community Service Learning (CACSL) and Volunteer Canada/Volunteer Centre Network dedicated to visioning the future of the partnership between community organizations and academic institutions.
Proposal will be submitted online through the conference website www.cacslconference2016.ca by January 31, 2016, using the required template. Proposals will be reviewed by academic and practitioner reviewers depending upon the track and nature of submission. Acceptances will be sent by February 28. Attendees accepted to present at the conference must register by May 5, 2016, to be included in the program.
